How do I reserve a room?
We offer various options for room reservations to meet the needs of our guests. You can either book through our official website, by phone or by email or leading booking platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia. Each of these options offers an easy and convenient way to secure your room in advance to ensure your stay goes smoothly.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major credit cards: Mastercard/Eurocard, Visa, Maestro/Bankomat, American Express, Diners and JBL.
Is there a way to cancel my room free of charge?
You will find informations on the cancellation conditions in your booking confirmation. Our reception team is in order to help you around the clock at office@backend.schlossberghotel.at or by telephone on +43 316 80 700 . Our standard rate can be cancelled free of charge until 2 pm on the day before arrival.
Do I have to inform you about my credit card details before arrival?
A credit card is required to guarantee your booking. If you booked online, your credit card details will be requested automatically. For direct bookings - by e-mail or telephone - we may ask you to provide your credit card details by telephone.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3 pm, check-out is until 11 am. To reduce waiting times at reception, we recommend that you fill in the registration form before you arrive. You will receive the registration form by e-mail 48 hours before arrival.
Is there an early check-in or late check-out possible?
Depending on availability, we are in order to offer you an early check-in or late check-out for a small fee. Please contact us for more information per e-mail office@backend.schlossberghotel.at or per telephone +43 316 80 700.
Can I leave my suitcase at your hotel, if I arrive early?
You are welcome to leave your luggage with us free of charge. Even after check-out, we will store your luggage with us free of charge until your departure.
Where can I park my vehicle and what are the costs?
A nearby parking facility is essential for our guests. For this reason we offer you a parking service: Please park your vehicle directly in front of the house, on the yellow zig-zag line. Depending on the size of the vehicle, it will be parked in one of our outdoor parking spaces or in the underground garage. The parking fee is EUR 25.00 per night.
There is a charging facility for electric vehicles; the charge for this is EUR 20.00 per charging process.
What are the opening hours of the reception?
The reception at the Schlossberghotel is staffed around the clock. The reception team is always at your disposal to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
At what times is breakfast served and is it included in the price?
During the week, our breakfast buffet is available from 06:30 to 10:00 am - on weekends and on public holidays from 07:00 to 11:00 am. A rich breakfast buffet with regional and organic products awaits you.

Breakfast can be booked as part of the reservation process or on site.
Do you also offer lactose- and gluten-free products?
Your well-being is of particular concern to us. We are happy to take special dietary requirements into account. We offer lactose-free and gluten-free products. In order to meet your needs, we ask you to let us know your wishes and concerns in advance.
Is it possible to have breakfast at the Schlossberghotel as an external guest?
Also non-hotel guests are very welcome at our breakfast buffet. The breakfast price for external guests is EUR 34.00 per person.

Are all rooms equipped with a minibar?
Our suites and apartments are equipped with minibars.
Our hotel bar is open around the clock. Because of ecological reasons, we decided to furnish our rooms without minibars.
Food or other items that require refrigeration can be handed in at our reception and kept chilled in our central cold store.
Are pets allowed?
Your four-legged family member is very welcome at our hotel. We charge EUR 25.00 per night for pets.
Is there a seminar or event room at the Schlossberghotel?
You are in order to plan a meeting, a company event or a private event? The Schlossberghotel has 3 conference and event rooms and can accommodate up to 45 people. Our event and service team is always at your disposal to provide you with all-round culinary support before and during the event.

Are there bike rental facilities at the hotel?
Let a fresh breeze blow through your hair as you cycle along the Mur and explore the city on one of our rental bikes. There is the possibility of a half-day or full-day rental. Is it possible to book half or full board at your hotel?
The Schlossberghotel doesn't have its own restaurant. In addition to our extensive breakfast buffet, we offer homemade soups and snacks around the clock.
Room service from the neighboring restaurant KLYO is also available on selected days.

Are all rooms air-conditioned?
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Is there a bar in the hotel?
The hotel bar is open to hotel guests and external guests at any time of day. We serve a selection of drinks, Fairtrade coffee and snacks.
Does the Schlossberghotel have a pool?
Starting from our roof terrace, you will find a carefully cultivated ensemble of terraces that nestles against the Schlossberg. The pool, which promises welcome refreshment in summer, is enthroned here in an almost regal manner.
Is it possible to rent rooms for a longer period of time?
The Schlossberghotel offers 8 modern apartments; these are located directly opposite of the main building. Each one is equipped with a kitchenette.

Which room category do you recommend for families?
For families with children, we recommend our higher room categories, double rooms superior with connecting door or suites as well as our modern apartments in the "Domenig-Spitz" opposite of the main building. Our reception team will be happy to advise you individually and tailored to the needs of your family.
Is there free WLAN throughout the hotel?
The entire hotel is equipped with free WLAN.
Is it possible to make tea and coffee in the room?
All room categories at the Schlossberghotel are equipped with a kettle. From the "Superior double room" room category upwards, you will also find a Nespresso capsule machine in your room.
Does the Schlossberghotel have a wellness area and a fitness room/gym?
In the basement you will find a small wellness area with relaxation room, Finnish sauna and infrared cabin. For physical fitness, our hotel has a small fitness room with cardio and strength equipment.
Is smoking allowed in the Schlossberghotel?
The Schlossberghotel is a non-smoking hotel. We ask our guests to smoke outside the hotel and to use the roof terrace.
Are there disabled-friendly or barrier-free rooms at the Schlossberghotel?
The Schlossberghotel is open to all guests, but we are aware of the special needs of people with disabilities and - in a building dating back to the 16th century - can only meet these to a limited extent.

How far is the city center from the Schlossberghotel?
The Schlossberghotel is located right in the historic center of Graz, just a few minutes' walk from the main square. We recommend exploring the city on an entertaining walk or using the streetcar - the stop is right in front of the hotel.
What other amenities does the Schlossberghotel offer?
The Schlossberghotel has an extensive art collection: works by contemporary artists and sculptures that adorn the public areas and rooms. It is a private collection.
Are Vouchers available?
A voucher from the Schlossberghotel is a gift for any occasion. You can obtain vouchers from the Schlossberghotel at reception, by e-mail to office@backend.schlossberghotel.at or by telephone on +43 316 80 700. Vouchers for delivery must be paid for in advance by credit card.
